Post-conference Workshop with Dr Matthew Yau – Saturday 19^th July 2003 

At the completion of this short course, participants will be able to:  

-           describe the dynamic concept of culture

-           identify their own cultural selves

-           appreciate cultural diversity and its enrichment of human experience

-           demonstrate awareness of the implications of culture for health care practice

-           describe the general principles for intervention planning and

implementation for clients of different cultural backgrounds 

Each participant will receive a workbook.
